Feb 2021: CCA is Proud to Announce that Kathleen Riley's Article & Photography Entitled "The Scent of a “Fox” is in the February Issue of the AKC Gazette!!

We'd like to give a special shout-out to Company A 1-169th Aviation Regiment, currently in Kosovo. During Vietnam, a Chinook named Charger was attached to the "Winged Warriors". Military dogs both assist and protect our service members while providing affection and moments of laughter.
Oct 6: The ladies of CCA showing in style at Morris & Essex KC! M&E is one of the oldest shows in the U.S. and everyone dresses for the occasion in hats, pearls, dresses and suits! CCA Wows AKC Judges at Seminar!
A Big Thank You to outgoing Judges' Education Chair, Carie Taylor for organizing a successful judges ed seminar at the Kenosha Kennel Club's Annual Show in Grayslake IL!! Special thanks to Marion and Anton Koenigsmann and Tammy Anderson for bringing dogs to the Judge's Education seminar on June 12!! Our thanks also to Lauri Burnett for coming and taking pictures! The judges were thrilled to see 6 Chinooks! Marion also had her beautiful girl, Tikaani, entered in the show Saturday.

CHARGER Check out the United States Army Aviation Museum at Ft Rucker, AL! Besides wonderful exhibits on the role of aviation in the Army, there is a display on Charger, the Chinook who went to Vietnam. CCA is proud to support our service members and for the part Charger played as mascot to the 228th Assault Support Helicopter Battalion. |

The AKC Gazette Features the Chinook!
The November 2018 issue of the AKC Gazette has a feature article on the history of the Chinook. This informative piece was written by CCA Publicity Chair KJ Krammes and was previously published as a special edition to the CCA club newsletter: The Chinook Advocate. The article shares several rare historical photos with special highlights of the Chinook’s rich history.
