Versatility Awards Program
Chinooks are active, versatile dogs bred to work closely with their owners. The Chinook Club of America (CCA) Versatility Awards recognize dogs and owners who participate in a variety of dog sports and activities.
Quick Summary
• Earn points through titles across one or more different categories
• Bronze requires 7 points in at least 3 categories
• Higher levels require more points and broader participation
Eligibility
• Owner or co-owner must be a current CCA member
• Dogs must be registered with AKC or CKC
• Excelled in one or more titling events throughout their lifetime
Requirements
To earn an award, a dog must:
• Achieve titles in one or more categories
• Accumulate the required number of points
Award Levels
• Merit Award: 5 points / 1 category
• Bronze: 7 points / 3 categories
• Silver: 12+ points / 3 categories
• Gold: 20+ points / 4 categories
• Platinum: 30+ points / 6 categories (including 1 Conformation title)
• Master: 40+ points / 7 categories (including 1 Conformation title)
Scoring
• Points are awarded based on the level of title achieved within each category (see Point Grid)
• No duplicate credit for the same level
• Title points may be cumulative and may include past accomplishments; each award can only be
earned once.

Point Guidelines
• Points are awarded based on the level of title achieved (see Point Grid)
• Titles must progress in level to earn additional points within a category
• Repeated titles at the same level do not count
Categories

Conformation: Champion titles (AKC)
Obedience: CD, CDX, UD
Rally: RN, RA, RE, RM
Tracking: TD, TDX, VST
Agility: Novice, Open, Excellent/Master
Sledding/Pack/Skijoring: (Titles Pending)
Scent Work: Novice through Master
Coursing/FCAT: CA, CAA, CAX, BCAT, DCAT, FCAT
Dock Diving: Applicable titles
Barn Hunt: Applicable titles
Therapy/Service Work: Certification titles
Miscellaneous/Other Activities: May be approved at the discretion of the CCA
Notes
• Titles must be from recognized organizations (AKC, CKC, NASCW, NASDA)
• Titles may be earned over time
• Applicants are responsible for accurate totals
Examples
Rally (3 points) + Scent Work (2 points) + Trick Dog Advanced (2 points) = 7 points (Bronze)
Or:
Canine Good Citizen (1 point) + Farm Dog (1 point) + Fetch Novice (1 point) + FitDog Bronze (1 point) +
Trick Dog Novice (1 point) + CGCA (2 points) = 7 points (Bronze)
