CONFORMATION
Congratulations on your new Chinook! You are privileged to welcome this rare working dog into your family, now what will you do with your new puppy? Hiking and travel is fun, but the breed offers so much more. First register your AKC puppy with the AKC organization. Next, become a member of the Chinook Club of America. This is easily done using the "membership" tab. Now, go to the AKC website and check out all of the fun things you and your Chinook can do! A well exercised working dog puppy is a better behaved and happier puppy. There is something on there for everyone. You and your pup can train and earn titles in everything from agility, rally and nose work to being a fitness dog, trick dog or therapy dog. However, one of the best ways to make the world aware of our magnificent breed is to show them in the ring. Conformation....or showing your dog as most people refer to it, is rewarding and fun!
